I don't think they meant actual "karma". They're just saying that due to his previous crimes that he never had to serve time for, it's understandable that he'd get the book thrown at for the ones they did get him on.

It's like Al Capone getting 11 years for tax evasion when if he wasn't a ganglord they probably wouldn't even have gone after him. Or Harvey Weinstein getting 23 years for convictions that usually would have just been 5-10. It's no surprise to see a judge push towards the max end of a sentence in a case where the actual crimes were far more extensive than the ones that were being tried. An 18yo kid off the streets with no record who catches a drug charge ain't going to get the same sentence that a 30yo kingpin will pull for that charge.

The first child sex tape trial started in 2002 but his lawyers successfully stalled the case for 6 years, the video was played in court and and 14 different witnesses testified that he was having sex with a young teen. He only dodged the conviction because he's rich and famous and paid off the victim and her family with a villa in France so that they all refused to testify.

The second child sex tape case came in 2004, when police got another video of R. Kelly having sex with an underage girl. His lawyers fought the charges claiming the search on his home that produced the video had been unlawful, and managed to get the judge to throw the case out of court.

The third child sex tape case is pending in Chicago right now. He's charged with 21 counts of sexual abuse of a minor between the ages of 13 and 16, a grand jury has already seen the tapes and moved to indict. He literally talks about her "14 year old p*ssy" on the tape. A close friend of the victim has already testified that she frequently went to see R. Kelly with the girl on the tape starting when they were 12 years old. An aunt and uncle of the girl confirm that it is her on the tape. The father of the friend has confirmed that the entire neighborhood knew about the girl being on the tape. This shyt is proven, breh.

Not to mention the other pending case where he's accused of prostitution charges for paying a 17-year-old in Minnesota.

And that doesn't even cover all of the women who have testified that R. Kelly abused them when they were girls - they've been calling him out for 26 years. Tiffany Hawkins in the 1990s, Tracy Sampson in 2001, Patrice Jones and Montina Woods in 2002, Jerhonda Pace in 2017. Not to mention of course Aaliyah in 1994 and the girl in the piss tape video in 2002. ALL of them were underage.
