It may sound :mjpls: as if he complaining, but if black folk don't step up and support retail albums of TALENTED black artists, even Hip Hop and RnB gonna have completely white faces in less than 5 years from now.

Basically, while it may have been better if a Tyrese/Ne-yo made the statement, he's completely right. Look at jazz, look at rock, they all started as black music, but you wouldn't know that unless you did your research. hiphop and R&B will face the same face in 20-30 years if the only people who buy records are white people.

Yep. White washing is being planned by the record execs that are trying hard as we speak, to clean out of all the black artists from black music

Well then buy the streams breh, that's all.

Hip Hop is the most streamed genre, the artists are eating. I don't know how the payment systems from streams work, so I don't even know the general barometer of the checks.

The main way the eating is from touring, to support the artist, you gotta to to the shows

Yall may not like the messenger but the overall message is spot on.

Even the message isn't correct...whites bootleg way more music than blacks..to say it's a black problem is pure bs...

NOBODY sells retail anymore not Robin Thicke nobody...if whites bought his records he wouldn't have went double wood last two albums...

It's a guilt trip cuz he broke nothing more...ain't no message there...

Anyone primarily trying to break bread selling records in the retail format is gonna fail in 2016 anyway....esp if you 48 and considered a has been...

He needs to figure out some new revenue streams...
