This is the bad thing about things going down they way that he did. No matter if he did it or not, it will always haunt him till the end of time.

His sales will never be as they once were.

The media will stay playing its part. And people are going to feel how they feel.

I don't agree with supporting R. Kelly's statutory ass, but we do need to get off this piracy thing and start throwing real money at our artists. My whole family is all about streaming EVERYTHING and folks will turn around and complain about The Man controlling Hollywood a second later. It's like voting. If we make ourselves a significant block of the market then we can control the market.

I agree this is right message wrong artist to hear it from. Actually Tyrese has been speaking about not supporting rnb music across the board. But part of the difference is Sam smith, adele, robin Thicke and Justin Timberlake get radio play on both black and white channels. Name a white channel that will play black rnb musicians! Not gonna find it. So we can promote their music and give it radio spins but we are stuck with only our channels for promotion. Rap is king for us as far as they are concerned so they promoting rap artists so the rnb genre is suffering from low album sales. Seems like the only "soul" music the industry wanna promote are the Sam smiths and adeles when we created the shyt.

This. They only want to make it seem like white singers are putting out quality music which is why they make sure white singing artists get as much support as they need from the media while black r&b artists gets treated with less.

He's too old to be a wave rider. And that's how some of his new music comes off. Like it's trying to appeal to the younger people.

As a legend, I don't respect that.

I support good music. Make good music and I'll support.

This is really the crux of it for me. I got most of dudes discography, but he's too damn old to be making turn up music and pseudo R and B. He put out a bad album and that's all there is to it.
