R and B is one of my favorite genres. Spent lots of money a a youth buying cd's. R. Kelly was hard to get into until age 16 because it was pretty mature content.

Over time, I thought he was a pioneer and great artist. I don't support anything after TP-2 album because he went real commercial, and switched up too much. He lost his identity, so he doesn't get my money. I buy what's considered a classic, what I really dig, or what gets huge buzz. Nothing after Tp-2 fits in that category.

Starting from Chocolate factory, I despised him musically, and it just so happens all the mental breakdowns and serious allegations occurred. It was just a bad time for him. Wish him well.
