Could be offered one down the line

Key words there.

I see why Rock stays away from WWE now. The foundation of the "Final Boss" character is that he is on the TKO board. As risk averse to brand damage as he is (especially after that last round of bad PR) I'm sure he does not want to be anywhere on WWE TV playing a TKO heel.

This is where HHH's usefulness comes in; as long as these decisions can be traced back to him then he has a job. It'll be interesting to see how things shift when it goes from HHH releasing these people to TKO is destroying the company. And if Truth's release is any indication, HHH's own utility might already be in question.

There is a long simmering beef between those two and Rock has a higher position with the company right now than Triple H.

Yeah, my exact point...we will get R truth chants soon. I could see CM PUNK or KO wearing the Ron Cena shirt on some fukk you shyt too.

Company Man Punk is on his last lifeline. No fukking way he screws up the money train this time around.

For all we know it could be a situation where he didn't want to sign a legend contract when his current one expires, and has money on the table via AEW or TNA and he wants to take the money before commiting to a legends deal. Might be a win win for Truth
I wouldn't be surprised if legend contracts disappear in the near future. TKO is going to suck the last bit of soul out of the WWE and turn it into a sterile, corporate content mill.
