I did refute your point though.

If your point is simply a whataboutism, flipping the subject to other companies, then that's not really refuting anything that I said in my post. My post is about R-Truth specifically and WWE specifically. My point is he's making them money and others are not. "It's just business" is cool but my points involved logic. My points involved what he means to everyone there and what he means to them financially in contrast to others who aren't nearly as valuable.

If you want to run around saying "it's business" and talking about wake up calls (something I never discussed or cared to discuss) then do you.

Truth had a 17 year run and made millions of dollars and can parlay his fame through wrestling into other money making endeavors.

It’s sad that it’s ended like this, but some of y’all need to clam down :mjlol:

This is a regular occurrence in the major sports leagues.

It’s time for someone who’s young and hungry to take his roster spot.

fukk all that it's a business bullshyt.
And the wild shyt about it is he actually makes them money. The MF just had the top selling shirt and it was based off a joke, Imagine if they gave him real merch and a push.

I can make a lengthy list of MFs who should be gone before Truth but won’t even waste my energy.

I see why Rock stays away from WWE now. The foundation of the "Final Boss" character is that he is on the TKO board. As risk averse to brand damage as he is (especially after that last round of bad PR) I'm sure he does not want to be anywhere on WWE TV playing a TKO heel.

This is where HHH's usefulness comes in; as long as these decisions can be traced back to him then he has a job. It'll be interesting to see how things shift when it goes from HHH releasing these people to TKO is destroying the company. And if Truth's release is any indication, HHH's own utility might already be in question.

And again TKO doesn't give a damn about that and they've made that entirely clear.

They've literally been making that clear with a lot of the moves that they've been making in front of people's faces :mjlol:

People wanted Vince to sell the company, so now this is what's coming of it.

Like I said, there aren't many R-Truth's in the business. People who are great entertainers, good wrestlers, comedic, locker room leader and someone that is loved by every single member of the roster.

He's still in great shape. He obviously didn't want this to be the end. They made the choice for him.

He literally got a better sendoff than the majority of other talent who walk away or get let go, yet people are upset and losing their minds.

Yeah, this is one of those things when another big wrestler leaves a few months down the line, like fukkin Rhea or Priest or Seth or KO, and in a Chris Van Vliet interview they cute this as a turning point and realized they just gotta get a bag regardless.

This seems like a tactical error. Giving him a 2 month retirement angle or something at least would've been good and drew money. Like was mentioned, the Cena match could've been a retirement angle.
