I don't get where he said "Race doesn't matter in America" . I went to the 12 minute mark and listened for 2 minutes. Is it further along or earlier?

He didn't say it. Later in the interview he even addressed how black people are discriminated in the financial realm and the economic gap.

There's LESS intermingling based on CLASS than there is with race. If you work at a job and there's coworkers who not your skin color, either you cool with them or you are not, not because of their skin color but how they are with you. And that's what cube was saying about being in the same wavelength.

That may be true. But the fact that the people with power are making laws thats unfair to certain race indicate that race matters.

But is that all systemic, or do more of us need to hustle more? We don’t value education, and push our kids as much as other races. A lot of us have children out of wedlock, and have more single earner households. And you have to admit, when it comes to grammar, kids hearing their parents speaking without using conjunctions is going to affect their speech. Are we making sure our kids are doing homework, or are they running the streets? Are we pushing our kids to go into STEM? Are we going to therapy to work on our issues? I don’t think the standards should be lowered for us. I think we need to meet the standards. Then a certain number of spots should be open for us, but affirmative action is gone now.
