Most of y'all were born after 1980/1990. Is there something you have not been able to do that you might have otherwise been able to do if you were white?
And it can't be, "if I was white, my grandparents would've had money and I could've gotten into Harvard due to their connections." That applies to establishment old money types who are less than 1% of the population.
As an individual, no, as a race, fukk yes.
Look at graduation rates from high school/college by race for example.
Or look at the professions. We make up ~12% of the country, but we damn sure aren't even 10% of the C-suite, Doctors, Lawyers, Judges, etc.
But we are over-represented when it comes to early mortality, dropping out of school, etc. It's easy to use your personal experience as 'what everyone else is experiencing" but that ignores that these are systemic issues that affect many black Americans.
Things like Affirmative Action are in place because systemically, our #s are waaay below other races, so it's kinda ironic hearing that we're all equal while ignoring the data. I know it's not your intention, but these are very similar to the Republican speaking points that suggest that we should do away with programs that
