Most jet fighters wont be worth the metal theyre made of ..not just because of lack of jet fuel.and regular maintenance but because there will be no high tech guidance systems, satellites or ground radar...
you cant fly them just by looking out the tiny little widow it needs a constant stream of guidance, communication and target data.
Now Helicopters on the other hand ....that would be the pilot licence worth having...they run on regular gas,you can fly by sight and land almost anywhere
MIG 21s are like flying AK 47s. They can take beating and are designed to operate and take off in less than ideal situations. There are also thousands of them still in service.
Even the MIG 29 can fly with no advance avionics or fly-by-wire. The MIG 29 has inlets that close on lift-off (Inlets open at the top) to prevent debris from flying into the jet engine.
These aircraft will never be in the united States, but the countries they do have them will have reliable "offline-mode" fighter jets.

. So love yours.
True the old MIGS are probably able to fly in absence of tech...BUT Even if you could get the fuel for it finding and maintaining mile long runways you need to land it is probably not gonna be an option.
