I am skeptical that all this is true...its just hard to conceive people without racial biases exist but I do wanna go there. I heard the women look...:shaq:

Most people are pretty tolerant but there are some bigots up here. For instance, here in Montreal, there have been attacks on English speakers from French Canadians in recent months and a black community centre was recently vandalized with racist graffiti.

Overall though, things are good and you'll often see people from different backgrounds chillin together.

There's still too much racism out in the farm towns/counties, very inhospitable for minorities, but in the city I have honestly had affable relationships with regular white people who aren't police officers or rich people.

My stay in Canada was the only time in my life that I didn't really notice my race (although I hardly saw any black people while I was there). The only thing that made me feel different was being an American.

Yeah, I should have said the Toronto area, but even in Montreal, I saw so many nationalities there. I have heard that the more french speaking areas can get Cacky though.

Honestly, this sounds the same as America. :yeshrug:

Cities tend to be more liberal
Rural areas tend to be less favorable of minorities

t-dot till they bury me
Canada prides itself at home and abroad as a country made up of a cultural mosaic rather than a cultural melting pot. The mosaic is based on our belief that Canada as a whole becomes stronger by having immigrants bring with them their cultural diversity for all Canadians to learn from.

i love my country :to:

Nope.
Some immigrant families be tryna teach their first-gen. kids to despise and avoid other ethnicities.

But so many of us persevere.
