In Honduras they tried enslaving the local population to work the plantation. they killed themselves than to live like that. African slaves had to be brought in . Just a thought

My point is that there's another historical evidence throughout American history that racism being “some demonic shyt” (as OP put it) should just be common knowledge for a Black person at this point in time.
The fact that some Black ppl are “taken aback” by how racism is continuing to exist and how deep it runs just reeks of naivety and not being well educated/informed about the history of America and why such racism, bigotry, racist, etc continues to exist and unfortunately flourish.
It's been set in stone throughout this countries foundations and traditions since the beginning and it's not going anywhere no matter the decade, century, or era, yes things aren't as brutal as decades before us but still some Black ppl gotta stop being shocked and appalled by the obvious, White and other non-Black people who're racist towards Black ppl shouldn't be a shocker knowing this country's history.
It's kinda disappointing, now obviously every Black individual has different perspectives on race due to whatever relationships (friendships, coworkers, acquaintances, partnerships, etc) they may have on the daily with non-Black people but this naiveness and sudden discoveries about racism isn't good. Maybe a person like me expectations and bar setting is too high for some Black ppl to follow but I feel when it comes to shyt like this, it should just be common knowledge right off the bat

I'm CERTAIN about that. No other people has gone through the type of slavery that black people suffered in America. We had everything stripped from us, we were not allowed to be taught by our fathers who came from Africa, our identities were taken from us, we were hung, burned, castrated, raped, sold, families destroyed, and that's only 1% of it. No other people have gone through what black people have gone through in America.

Most Black people around the world have every reason to be extremely anti-white and they won't be. Even after the the theft of Africa, slavery, the lynchings, and other vile anti-human behavior in the US such as during the post civil war era when cacs had the KKK and Nazi's marching openly around and terrorizing Black people in the worst ways imaginable it just didn't happen.
Instead Black people pushed for integration until their wish was granted in the 50's and 60's. Because they wanted to hand their own kids over to cacs. Isolated and alone. Their own kids were marched into cac schools by their own parents to be terrorized and brainwashed.
And I said it before and I'll say it again and again:
You couldn't pay Jewish people enough for them to march their kids into Nazi run schools. Because you don't hand your kids over to your opponent. Or seek to settle near them.
And in South Africa Black people had their land stolen and occupied by cacs and some did fight against it..but after a time they just stopped and let cacs win. And now except for a small percentage of Blacks they want to be cool with cacs.

How much worse? I mention ALL of this because you'd think we (globally) would do things to make sure we wouldn't be in that position again but no. Cacs in SA flooded the country with guns and you'd think there would be a black paramilitary to ENSURE apartheid doesn't happen again but no (at least what I know).
