1) My point is that the OP said that Saudi Arabia, keep blacks from positions. But a black man, that is son of African immigrants held the highest religious position in the country. It is more complex than saying Saudi is keeping blacks from positions. If you are not a member of the royal family it is damn near impossible to get a high ranking job.
2) President Obama, won the election with 52% of the vote made up of a coalition of Liberal whites, Women, Hispanics, Blacks and other minorities. So a democracy could still elect a Black President, even if 48% of the population practice white supremacy. That's a big difference from a country like Saudi Arabia which is practically a dictatorship.
