The story of the NRA forming to teach blacks to shoot doesn't have any legs. It's been passed around but no one can find any evidence in any of their founding documents.

It's not to our benefit. Access to firearms is correlated increased likelihood of suicide, homicide, and accidental death. Yeah. Sounds peachy.
I appreciate that firearms restrictions were once focused (and continue to be if you include the drug war/felon restrictions) on blacks but society has changed; firearms just aren't as vital as they used to be. We know of the large downsides to them, there aren't too many upsides.

And just generally, not all gun owners are racist but all racists are gun owners. This isn't uncommon. All over the US you can find racist paraphernalia sold at gun shows. Hell, check out some of the folks associated with the NRA board. Not exactly the most tolerant folks.

But good try on the dropping of the knowledge or whatever it was that you were trying to do.

My Grandad was a medic in the military in the 50's. I don't know what conflict he was in, I could call and ask but I'm lazy and you'll just have to accept this as hearsay. But he told me that through some series of events that he had to treat a wounded white soldier.

And you know what the dude told him.

Ain't nobody talking about killing whites. The ones that do are bullshytting. It's only defensive that most people are serious about. The problem is that the "militants" are the only ones who take them at their word. The rest of the integrationist negroes truly believe whites will fight and die to protect them when those death squads start roaming. That's how deep their delusions are. "Militants" see what they do, hear what they say and take them at their word for it. If it's the 50s it sounds like Korea. That was only a few years after the military was integrated. Lot of fukked up shyt happened to black soldiers pre and post integration.

Cars are getting safer. You have to be licensed to own an operate one. And insurance takes care of lots of those costs associated with the harm from car accidents.
