I'm always down to appreciate Radiohead. ALWAYS. I could put any of their albums on and not skip a track, except for "Pablo Honey" (which is alright, but compared to their future stuff, doesn't hold a candle).

I loathe "Creep", tho. I cannot STAND that song.

They're starting to get a little complacent, tho. Kinda like Chili Peppers in the later years. They're tired of pushing the envelope and quite frankly, after the run from "OK Computer" (which I think is their best) through to "Hail to the Thief" (which is personally my favorite record because of a particular time and place I was at in my life), no one on the planet was fukkin' with them. Hell, I like "In Rainbows" and "The King of Limbs" because they sound happy (well, happier) with life and they're more accessible to people now, musically.

Don't sleep on Yorke's "The Eraser" or the Atoms For Peace record, either.

Been listening to Radiohead, Thursdays, And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead, etc. since the late nineties. I gotta keep my music pallet fresh. Listening to only hip hop rots your brain to an extent in my opinion. Gotta be eclectic nikkas!!!

Big on Radiohead since my man told me about OK Comp back in the day. They basically changed the sound of indie rock. So many groups owe their sound to them particularly Coldplay and groups that have ripped off Coldplay (Train, Snow Patrol, etc).

To this day I have never hear Amnesiac. I've hear every other album though. King of Limbs and Pablo Honey are my least favorite. Maybe there are on the decline but they had a hell of a run. Didn't like The Eraser like many of you and haven't heard Atoms For Peace yet.

My favs:
Jigsaw Falling Into Place
There There
Black Star
Reckoner
All I Need
Everything In It's Right Place
House of Cards
Bullet Proof
Subterranean Homesick Alien

is RadioHead past their prime right now?

most likely as people are used to their sound it's pretty much impossible to reinvent themselves at this stage in their career

they gave A LOT though so can't really complain

In Rainbows was one of the albums I listened to in the aftermath of some awful shyt. It holds a special place for me.
That's what OK Computer was for me. I was going through a terrible time in life and that album sounded so heavenly yet depressing at the same time. All I can really say is that it had a great impact on me. The Bends too...And Kid A to a lesser extent.
