Recently Johnny stated the band is recording "Lift" again for their new LP. They've done this many times in the past. This performance of young Thom is WILD. Dude BEEN rocked that yellow jumpsuit, the fukk is a Breaking Bad brehs??? His confidence was soaring...the way he looked at the crowd at the end?

"So lighten up...squirt!"

1) Then how am I trolling? :mjlol:

2) Radiohead has a few really GOOD songs...For example, High and Dry, Creep, Paranoid Android, Karma Police, Fadeout, No Surprises, All I Need, Climbing Up The Walls...

But their discography is not filled with such high quality songs...Sometimes they sound like they are trying too hard...

3) I listened to some of the songs posted in this thread, and they just sound like random electronic sounds...:mjlol:
If you're new to the band in 2016 or whatever I can see why this is your opinion. OK Computer came out over 15 years ago, and, in many ways, redefined what rock music was. They then totally flipped the script with Kid A and Amnesiac and released shyt that very few people were into. The fact that that sound is generic to you in 2016 is because of Radiohead.

I have known Radiohead since was a little one...I grew up in South Africa, the radio stations over there mainly played British music, and only the REALLY popular Americans...

I remember watching a battle of the bands between Blur vs Radiohead...I loved the Blur songs, but the Radiohead songs where just like "WTF"...And the lady presenting the show stated that Radiohead won in the end...

I was baffled...And I am still baffled with the amount of people who love Radiohead...They have some REALLY dope songs I listen to...But it is only a handful in their catalog...

I feel the same way about Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Pink Floyd and some others...People swear that they are so great, but their songs aren't even that great...

They have great songs, but it is NOT the majority of their catalogs, and they are DEFINITELY not head and shoulders above the rest like their fans make it seem...That's my beef...

The strings:wow:

Looks like they've changed their sound again. Can't lie brehs I thought Radiohead were washed when I heard TKoL but it looks like they still got some juice left.
Check the Live From the Basement version of TKOL on youtube. Turned me on to that album big time. Went from bottom 2 to top 3 for me.
Bloom is too dope
Codex>Give Up The Ghost>Separator could be the best three songs run in their catalogue.
