I hate to be negative but how f*cking hard is it to get Alc, Muggs, Daringer, Conductor, etc. and make an album that actually sounds like a Wu project?

There is literally an entire subgenre of rap now that sounds like 90's hip-hop and 90's rappers (mostly) refuse to utilize it. It's mind boggling.

Based on the production lineup I'm not that excited for Rae, but theres usually a few joints that stay in rotation from every Wu release.

Ghostface has a really strong discography, hopefully SC2 is nothing like his last album on Mass Appeal. That was his worst album imo, along with the one before that.

Yeah, the lack of promo for this album has been disappointing. We all understand Rae is currently on tour and can’t do a press run. But the tour literally ends on Friday, the day of the release.

The best thing they could of done for Rae and the album was drop the the video/single on the 18th, go on a crazy run the whole week and drop the album on the 25th.

Im sure the quality of the album is gonna be amazing, but there’s 0 fanfare other than if you follow a few IG pages like Rae, nas or massappeal

That Mac and Lobster track with Ghost sounds stupid fire ....The Nas track too. Even if just half the album is dope I'd be satisfied.

Played it through once but busy with other things this morning so tuning in and out. First impression was good though, Rae got the vintage slang going with the ice water flow, Ghost voice never gonna be what it was but he sounding hungry and energized on here. Production gonna be polarizing, I fukked with it, but it's obvious they going for a clean, luxurious sound so those wanting this to sound like vintage Wu or a 2019 Griselda project gonna be disappointed. The Swizz track actually cool.

Nas verse got him on that vintage existential stream of consciousness vibe, he got way more than sixteen bars, gonna have to go back and listen to that again soon.
