Interesting that the intro uses the same kung-fu move scene for the dialogue as Masta Killa’s No Said Date album. I think it was from The Five Deadly Venoms.

Not sure if I think it’s a nice throwback, or lacking inspiration.

:jbhmm:

Not that it matters. Just thought I’d mention in case nobody realised that.

Bro I was wondering where I heard that before, dap+rep. I think it's a bit lazy.

No Said Date is a true Wu classic :blessed:

I can high-key imagine the Clipse rapping on “Open Doors”

I KNEW Meth was finna smoke everybody on 600 school…and I was right.

I WISH Nas left the alternative verse on Omertà.

At this point…we are overdue for a legit conversation about how Raekwon his caught up (OR passed up) Ghostface catalogue-wise over the last 15 years…

@H. Selassie

I LOVE Rae and probably rank him higher than most. But he is not anywhere near Ghost in any timeframe you want to place them in :russ:

Rae hasn't passed Gza if we keeping it Wu, whereas Ghost discography competes with the 2Pacs and Nas and Cube's of the world as one of the best ever.

Heard but it seems like Ghost is getting heavy nostalgia points for 1996-2006.

I have a hard time being convinced that from OB4CL II and up that Ghostface has been dropping observably superior projects.
