:francis: that wasnt about the strung out cac @Ayo!-BEZ

it was about one of our "latino brothers" :francis:

You mean that fat clown that wants to say nikka and only be a nikka when it's comes to indulging in and/or claiming all the "cool" stuff we do or create...but wants to seperate himself from and shyt on nikkas and claim that "latino" shyt when it's to his convenience...that clown gets the "nikka" pass from Mr. Ocean? :leostare:

honestly this conversation really didnt have to become this between us. I mean i get your emotional attachment to rap since as blacks (if you are) most of us grew up listening to it for decades. but we're at a new point in society where we cant be afraid to criticize things simply because we're emotionally attached to them. looking back as an adult in the context of the racist history in america its hard not to see things differently.

i mean, hillary clinton called blacks "super predators" around the same time nore was calling himself a "super thug". remember, these rappers are being PAID, PROMOTED, AND SPONSORED by white people...

wu released their debut on LOUD.

who owned loud records? steve riffkind and rich isaacson. two WHITE men (probably jewish). do you think they had a problem selling poison to blacks?

if you want want to look at wu's music as progressive, uplifting, educational music for black men and women then knock yourself out. (not even saying that they didnt drop some knowledge for blacks, but that's not why WHITES latched on to them imo)

Come back with the lectures when you stop listening to these rappers you consider so dangerous to the Black community. Ol hypocrite ass n!gga.

:francis:

this was one representation of black men in the 90s...whether we like it or not blacks have little individuality in this country in part due to the white owned racist media

:patrice: i wonder if decades of negative, anti-black images is partly why in 2016 the general public is ok with unarmed blacks being shot down by police like animals.
