Yes they were going to share a stadium with the Raiders if they won that relocation vote but the Rams won and that f*cked both of their sh*t up. If they won, the Raiders and Chargers would've been in LA and the Rams would still be in St. Louis. They were on the clock because after the Rams won LA they had first dibs to go to LA and join the Rams but they had to come up with a decision this upcoming January. If they decided to stay in San Diego then the Raiders were free to move to LA. It was the Chargers first then the Raiders second. But now the Raiders are saying f*ck LA we going to Vegas so the Chargers are like

We don't have to come up with a decision this upcoming Januray. We can take 2-3 years or however long it takes to get things worked out.
Outside of LA Raider fans the Rams got LA locked up. Nobody likes the Chargers in LA because its San Diego's team plus this is still Raider territory. They would fall off the map trying to move to LA. I ever heard that if they do move to LA they would cease being the Chargers and do a complete rebrand- new name and all. That's the only way they would be able to do anything in LA
