You think Westbrook would have the same role if Rondo was the PG? Are you stupid? Legit. They'd be far more efficient with Rondo handling the ball and opening lanes for Westbrook to slash through even easier and get better jumpers. He'd have better shot selection and less turnovers and could easily play the 1 when Rondo is on the bench. Do you remember when Paul Pierce used to dominate the ball and play "hero ball"? Then they gave more power to Rondo to handle the offense and suddenly Pierce became one of the most efficient scorers in the game.
You think he'd have a tough time playing with Durant? Durant would score even more and have an even higher FG%.

Both Durant and Westbrook need the ball to be effective. Adding Rondo means significantly less touches for both. It wouldn't work.

Kobe doesn't need a PG like Rondo, just someone who can play defense and hit a jumper or two. Teague or Ty would fit. Rondo and Kobe are both ball dominant, so they couldnt play together.

I agree. Which is why I'm not too worried. Knowing Danny, he's going to let Rondo walk. Dude is radioactive at this point. And he got injured right when his value was at its best. Though, Danny is also the type of GM to wait until it's too late than to pull the trigger early. The Marcus Smart pick could be an omen.

Not to diss Rondo, but the market is really thin. They may have to wait til deadline and hope someone's PG situation becomes a problem. The Wolves walked into a perfect storm with LeBron signing. Otherwise they woulda been trying to sell Waiters, Harrison Barnes or Doug McDermott as the future of the team
The Celtics knew it, but they were trying to get Kevin Love, so why move Rondo then? When that ultimately fell apart, where else to go?
