Kobe doesn't need a PG like Rondo, just someone who can play defense and hit a jumper or two. Teague or Ty would fit. Rondo and Kobe are both ball dominant, so they couldnt play together.

I wasn't saying it would be a good fit. It would be terrible, unless Kobe took a backseat and that isn't happening.

Lakers did go and get Nash before, who didn't mesh either (he can shoot which is needed, but his ability to run an offense is wasted by having Kobe).

Jackie MacMullen reporting that Rondo has told the Celtics front office that he won't re-sign when his contract is up in 2015. Also said he wouldn't re-sign with the Kings so those trade rumors can be deaded. He's looking to be traded asap.

Saw this coming when the Celtics couldn't land any big names in the offseason. The Celtics got a backlog of decent guards so I think they'll be alright without Rondo.

Where does he land?

I thought u were talking about Rondonumbanine lol

If I was the Pistons I'd trade Josh Smith; and two top five protected firsts. Celtics would have to take the deal, because all the good teams have PG, and Rondo will just up and leave the Celtics for the Knicks in 2015.
I pity celtics fan if this happens.its been. Lose to a decade, but Altoine walker playing for them has to still be fresh on their mind find then they have to watch this atrocity....

Maybe the Pelicans should go after him? :leon:

Rondo would be terrible in the triangle knicks stans, he don't got the jumper for it.
I disagree, Rondo has a decent jumper at this stage of his career.
And he has always been a very good/smart player. So I see him running that triangle and making the necessary pass to keep it all flowing.
Phil could make it work, but can Derick Fisher make it work?
If D.Fish can somehow BE PHIL JACKSON as a coach, anything is possible
That's a lot of if's tho...

The stoop with dat dope fanny padding
So Rondo and his agent are denying there was a trade demand

Has anybody actually seen the video where Jackie Mac was saying this? Supposedly it was on ATH but not on the actual show, between commercials?

ESPN doesn't seem to be running with it, so I think this is bullshyt.

Lol....durant aint never winning a title....we'll be back in the finals before the thunder

So what had happen to the, Memphis, Clips then? Remember, OKC had a injured Westbrook a year ago, and Memphis took advantage of us. We would've made it to the finals again if WB wasn't injured. Same goes for Ibaka. If Ibaka was 100% healthy we would've of given the Spurs a run for their money. So....:camby:
