When was the last time Rose won a ring?
When was the last time Rose had a triple double? How about in the playoffs?
When was the last time Rose made consecutive ASG appearances?
How many all-defensive teams does Rose have?
How many assists titles?
How many steals titles?
And Rondo only played three more seasons than Rose. He wasn't an all-star in his first 2 years with the Celtics because he was still developing as a player. Last year, he would've been an all-star had it not been for his injury.
Face it, Rose has A LOT of ground to make up for. And he wants to sit out games. That should tell you everything.

You don't even know what kind of player Rondo is.
You probably look at his stats after the game and use your imagination
. A large percentage of the assists he gets is because he runs the offense the way it's supposed to, dudes coming off screens and hitting shots. He ain't creating the shot when he's just standing at the top of the key, not moving and just passing to dudes coming off double screens. That's why come crunch time when it's harder to execute these types of plays and it's up to individual players scoring, the C's now have a hard time. Ain't no Piru P bailing you out now

Nah Rondo's role on the 08 team was to play defense. Really no need for Curry with all the offensive weapons. Championship teams have balance.
With Garnett behind him, Curry is gonna be fine and the absolute firepower he brings puts them on another level. Curry, Pierce, and Allen? Who do you even guard? They can run an offense through anyone.

Again you don't need that many offensive weapons. 3 weapons is really an overkill. Curry wouldn't even get that many touches.Top 10 defenses win ships. C's had the best offense that season. No need for Curry.
If we're talking about prime KG, Pierce, and Judas, I still say Curry defers on offense and could focus on defense more. But then again, Rondo would be a better fit....a pass-first PG who doesn't look for/force his shot and is a beast on defense.
Curry doesn't need touches. He'd be fine because he's such a godly shooter that he's still gonna cause defenses to shift over to him.
They go from top 1 defense to top 5 or so but they go from the 10th best offense to top 5, if not the best.
