NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
Rakim can run that "So Contagious" joint with Truth Hurts, which was a smash hit, and "The Watcher 2" with Jigga and Dre which was on Jay-z's album, at least he can play joints from the 2000s that some of the youngins will recognize. And he got that "Classic" joint with Nas that Primo did, all the hip hop heads loved that. He may have some Dre joints that he wrote on too, idk. Kane pretty much has to stay in the 80's...even if Rakim just stayed in the 80's/early 1990 with him I think he'd still win convincingly
Ra would slaughter Kane. He needs to battle KRS.

He posted in IG promoting the match up @ Kane like he was calling Kane out. But Kane responded saying don’t @ me because I been wanted you, and posted a video he did weeks ago speaking to Fat Joe about it, and explained that he told Swizz back in April to make it happen. Next thing, Ra deletes his video off IG and starting posting Dapper Dan pics. Kane shrugged it off like :manny: and posted Kermit the frog sipping tea. Swizz chimes in and laughed.

Sounds like Kane is being salty:ehh:, Ra always struck me as the type to move when he decides to move. Kane is a pawn on the chessboard in comparison :mjlol:.

Plus Ra is a thinker, Kane might have something setup to try and get the drop on him via national stage, even though its suppose to be a celebration.

Plus in April everyone was still doing their set at their own crib and not in one spot like it is now. Given how Ra's feed/reception is choppy where he is at(see his interview with Fat Joe). That would not have been a good look for him.:mjlol:

I know this has nothing to do with it.......but G-Rap would lyrically smoke both them dudes in they prime, he just dont have the hits behind him. :yeshrug: The culture needs this Versus battle tho hope it happens.
:comeon: G Rap was basically stalemated by the same dude that asked the god to take bars out of a diss track that was made for him.

to those claiming that Rakim would "smoke" Kane

:mjlol:

Ra got the memo they're not just playing records splitscreen on Live anymore and :whoa:

No disrespect to The God, but the :krs:reaction to Kane, Scrap and Scoob getting in their :stylin::stylin::stylin:bag during 'Warm It Up, Kane' would be :wow::ohlawd::banderas:

I agree here, most of their fanbase isn't on IG, but I think word of mouth will either get them to sign up, or use their grandkids IG log in. :flabbynsick:

Y'all nikkas say weird shyt about anybody that was out pre-'93

shyt, all y'all favorite rappers from the 90s and early-00s would be in the comments watchin' that shyt as fans, as would everyone in their age range. Y'all act like the '90s dudes just fell out the sky and didn't grow up inspired by the MFs who came before them. VERY surprising for a spot that worships Nas to think so little of Rakim, lol

Babyface and Teddy Riley had people watchin' but this wouldn't :rudy:... man, the way y'all dismiss that era of hip-hop on a hip-hop board is felonious.

I think your comprehension kind of sucks, or you quoted the wrong person. All the people I know that were old enough to be big fans of both of them during their run are late 40s to 50s. That is not your normal age range for the IG crowd. Also Babyface and Teddy Riley runs extended into the late 90s etc but to your point I know a lot of older people that didn't have IG that find alternative ways to watch the battle because they were interested. All I am saying is the same thing will happen here. No reason for you to get all homotional about it.

My comprehension is great, actually.

Nobody's getting "homotional"... although you might be. Don't be the soft guy who takes every disagreement as an attack. It's the internet, breh. I was totally calm and typing at the same time.
