I first got to Miami in 89 breh. I know that shyt like the back of my hand. I know about downtown when you couldn't be out in the streets past 7pm. I know about overtown and how the area around Miami arena was no place to be at. Biscayne Blvd when that shyt had hookers everywhere

I lived in allapatah for a bit back in the early 90s but then we went to lil Havana which was a bit better. Also lived by Richmond heights/ colonial area in south dade. South dade im very familiar with.

It's like that down there now? I grew up in Miami Gardens over by the library on 183rd. Back then it was just a working class neighborhood. It had some d-boys and what not, but I never felt like it was a war zone (although my next door neighbor did get killed).

Regardless, it's sad to see that area get that bad of a reputation. The income gap in Miami is ridiculous, and was the case even back in the day.

I mean Carol City never had some warzone shyt, not like Opa Locka back in the day. I don't even think Carol City is all that bad now. I mean of course there is crime but not on the level of Liberty City. That was the whole deal though. People from Liberty City that finally got enough money moved to Carol City to buy a house. But honestly shyt can pop off anywhere in Miami. Even in the good neighborhoods.

Ha. I remember tropics. There was also like a spot where the Islanders used to hang. The Truck Stop or some shyt. Was west of off Pembroke Pines blvd. I believe. I only been there a few times, not sure.

As far as strip clubs, last two times I went to the Office it was legit. I got a dance from Mz. Standing Ovation (didn't know who she was at the time).

Naw I think Miramar police station right around there somewhere, I get what you saying I don't think it's that bad, a few incidents here and there but still pretty safe compared to miami gardens.

Small petty crime be out there. Usually young nikkas trying to stick up cats, they don't shot, they getting caught right there.

the femail hookers left (79th) a while back, i'd dudes with wigs now. Anything south of 103th and 95th is stay away territory late night. 62th and futher down aint safe, you will get dealt with.
