Breh almost everywhere in dade looks old school except for spots out west or midtown/design destrict and downtown.

I'm saying the samething @HacksawJimThuggin was saying. West miramar is really nice and it's basically Pembroke Pines. East miramar is a bit more hood cause its proximity to carol city. So basically everything past 37th Ave going east.
My step mom family used to live in that area so that's how I know. Not like I'm talkin out my ass breh.

i hate when ya'll over exaggerate how bad it is in south florida like yall was here in the late 80's 90's when it was really real out here talkin bout carol city bad, now? nikka where was ya'll in 06 everybody was dying left and right nikkas in complaining about shots in air in a football game. i wish i had that when i play ball when i was younger. they used to turn the light off and shoot the park up for fun (gwen cherry/bunche park)

It's like that down there now? I grew up in Miami Gardens over by the library on 183rd. Back then it was just a working class neighborhood. It had some d-boys and what not, but I never felt like it was a war zone (although my next door neighbor did get killed).

Regardless, it's sad to see that area get that bad of a reputation. The income gap in Miami is ridiculous, and was the case even back in the day.

I used to live here (Miami) and Still be careful when i step out. Last night got scared as fukk when some bum came up to my window asking for money byt the Arscht center under the bridge.. Dude just came up from my blind side and i didn't see him until he had his hand right next to my damn ear with the windows down. Startled the sh!t out of me for a half sec.

We ended up talking for a bit and i gave him a couple of dollars. Hes originally from V.I. but fell on hard times. But I always tell my friends who visit Miami to be careful out there

I first got to Miami in 89 breh. I know that shyt like the back of my hand. I know about downtown when you couldn't be out in the streets past 7pm. I know about overtown and how the area around Miami arena was no place to be at. Biscayne Blvd when that shyt had hookers everywhere

I lived in allapatah for a bit back in the early 90s but then we went to lil Havana which was a bit better. Also lived by Richmond heights/ colonial area in south dade. South dade im very familiar with.
