Random: anybody been to a white funeral?

Background: my former co-worker's daughter OD'ed. Her funeral is tommorrow but I've never been to a white funeral. Its a a Presbyterian church which sounds boring. Only what Ive seen on TV. Are they a couple hrs like Black funerals usually? How is it different from a Black funeral?

I've been invited, but I can't rationalize putting myself in a environment like that, with so little personal benefit.


I'd consider it if it were a family member to a Pawg(er) in my family; otherwise, it just seems like a bad idea. You aren't supposed to go to outings, just to return home stressed.

White people rarely invite blacks to their special events like weddings and funerals.

Black people are the opposite. You can rarely go to a black wedding or funeral and not see a CAC.

Black people actually take food seriously at our events. White people do not. I've had coworkers bring funeral leftovers to work and I swear that's the most dysfunctional sht I've ever seen on a plate. I swear to God, these weirdos put cornflakes, potatoes, and cheese on a baking tray and called it a meal. .


God forbid the main entre after a 2hour service and 30 min drive, is deviled eggs and crackers.
