before my google chrome browser was acting weird and random messages saying "hi" was popping out of it so I had to delete it.

McAfee's been warning me about the security being unchecked and that there was a potentially dangerous software but I just ignored it.

How did you end up fixing it?

I actually got what they called "gang raped". They hit me with multiple attacks at once and my antivirus couldn't keep up. By the time it was detected it was too late. I had to reformat.

I would run Mcafee on the PC but someone had this issue at work last week it was the Mcafee site advisor. Disable the plug in and then restart the browser
