To people who know about scouting, where does Trevon Bluiett fit in? People see him as maybe a second round pick, but I don’t know.

Brother should be way higher than he’s projected. Dude is a flat out stud.

I don’t think you can come to a conclusion on Ewing’s coaching ability this season because their non big east schedule was basically D-III status. I think if he can recruit he can get more out of his players though

But he’s held his own against a way more talented teams. He has some nice recruits for next year led by Deblanc.

If he can keep Govan and Derrickson with Leblanc, he has something to build on.

ESPN needs to chill with the Trae Young hype.

I see them doing the same thing they did with Jeremy Lin; hyping his individual numbers. They even separating him from the team; on their ticker at the bottom of the screen it said, "Trae Young and (12) Oklahoma fall short against Texas" or something to that effect. And then, all the time they hyping him up with his points and assists, they low key slick about sliding in the amount of turnovers. Same thing I saw them do with Jeremy Lin when he was balling with the Knicks. They love to build people up so they can spend an equal amount of time tearing them down.

At this point Duke will probably have to win the ACCT just to get back on the 2 seed line.

with all the upsets yesterday, they're still a 2-seed if they win the rest of the games they should win. if they win the ACCT they would actually likely be a 1-seed. But coach K needs to look in the mirror/take some blame, get his head out of his ass, and actually coach. He's basically rolling the ball out and letting them iso way too much (looking at you especially marvin). No high ball screens for tre or grayson who both have gotten lost in their offensive roles other than when allen plays PG and gets to have the ball in his hands a little (he's actually been a better PG than tre has for alot of this year). there was way to much one pass before someone takes a shot type shyt in the 2nd half and very little hustle to 50/50 balls and rebounds. Coach K has coached the olympics so you think he would know how to manage a starting 5 full of stars. all i see is grayson not getting in a rhythm all game because no one passes him the ball except for gary every now and then (tre misses him wide open numerous times a game), marvin forcing shots to protect his stat line (and not using his right hand when driving right which has made him easier to defend), and tre with terrible forced turnovers. Wendell and gary have been the best offensive players the last 5-6 games, but wendell is terrible defensively. I would've liked to see us go with marques in the last few minutes instead of marvin to be honest since he's a better defender than both. But wendell was giving us more offensively + making free throws. I about threw my remote at the TV when marvin took and airballed that late 3 from the top of the key. I'm not mad at grayson for the last two 3's he took, he got himself open and barely missed. But he can't be only shooting 4-5 times up until that point. Has to be more aggressive/selfish and not so damn deferential. Again, a big part of it is coach K not putting him in positions or running plays for him to score, ie high PnR. His points created off screen and roll action has always been very high given threat of his shooting and threat of his ability to drive. He's more effective than tre off that action since tre can't shoot for shyt. Just an overall frustrating game to watch, and as usual, we had 1 or 2 guys who typically shoot like ass start making everything they throw up in ponds and ahmed.

I would take Ponds out of that equation. Ponds has put up 37 on Nova, 31 on Xavier, 33 on G-town and Beat Missouri by himself with 31 and the last ten points.

:manny: He gets buckets.

They starting to give him some of these stockton esque assists as well :hubie:

I was watching his full coverage highlights and some of these were more than two dribbles but :hubie:

Comparing the dude to Pistol Pete and KD like come on man :francis:
What's wrong with that? From a numbers standpoint he ranks with those guys, and ultimately it's about viewership, and with what he's doing now he draws a lot of eyeballs to the tv:manny:

he gets buckets only b/c he's a volume shooter. He was shooting less than 40% from the field before this game and is barely above 40 now after yesterday morning's game. his 3 pt % is currently at 23% and that's shooting 6 threes a game and includes shooting well from 3 yesterday. The actually scoring total looks impressive at face value, but when you dig deeper and look at those percentages, it's not that impressive.

Shamorie has been playing with injuries all season. As a person who has seen every single game he’s played I know what I’m saying.
