He's going up against the best perimeter defender in the big 12. WV presses like a muthafukka limiting passes tonight was by design sure he could of had a couple of more assists but teams guard this nikka like nobody else in college. Dont forget he's leading the ncaa in assists and points. Nobody had OU on the map this year and he got them ranked they never get blown out if they lose. He needs to work on his off ball offense but that's something that can be worked on at the next level with better coaching.

That was 1 of the times Trae should've looked for himself

I think he should've put a move on breh that knocked the ball away

But breh had his head on trying to get to the rim

Yea, gotta admit I came late in the second half....and I’m more than familiar with Huggins defensive squads. But that shot selection is horrible and he handled the rock rushed and uncarefully from what I saw. He is a defensive liability tho so he HAS to make up for it on the offensive side. I think the NBA may be a lil too much for him right now (lot of great guards in the league right now)...another year would do him good....but maybe after the NCAA tourney he’ll be a lil bit more ready.

Most NBA point guards are not good defenders but no he's not Isaiah Thomas kinda liability. A freshman averaging 30 and 9 needs to stay in college come on breh you can't be serious. His game is tailer made for the NBA.

Nah b, yea his game is good, but not NBA ready.....the level from college to the league is astounding.....a fresh avg. 30-9 in the big twelve does not translate to what he’d do in the western conference against Durant, Westbrook, harden etc., and Wall irving Beal etc., ....he needs another year or two or a serious run in the tourney against all top comp. they said buddy heild was that next....nah not so much and he was at Ok. for bout 3 or 4 years......nba different (I’m sure you know this) I think he needs a year or two more and the film weight room. He may be nice tho next level. Steph Curry is an anomaly tho.

Id say most of this was my first impressions after watching him in the UT game couple days ago. He's basically like a young steph where that mentality to be able to both score and dish hasnt gotten to him yet. Its either or most games for him. Plus he doesnt seem to trust trying to get to the rim as much as Steph, but Ion think Steph had that slashing game at his age either like that.

Exactly .....Steph spent three years at Davidson, now imagine Steph as a one and done player.....:francis:....it’s be nothing like it is today. Trae is nice, but a year or two will do his game, b-ball iq and maturity wonders.
