He started at the 4 against the Wizards because Love was out. When Love returned the next game - he was playing at the 3 for most of the game. The problem is, he's not going to have the spacing he needs to be effective and for the Cavs to be effective (in the long run) if there isn't a big man or a SF who can guard 4s and stretch the floor (e.g. Battier). LeBron wouldn't last an entire season playing at the 4 if he had the defensive duties of one. Acting like LeBron could play the same role as Draymond on defense is patently ridiculous.I didn't leave out anything. I didn't bother putting his quotes from last season because I provided quotes that he's made this season more accurately a few days ago. Do you think that anything he said last year outweighs what he just said in the bolded quote from a few days ago? If you read the article then it obviously sounds as if he's changed his mind. Here's another quote from that article "It's definitely the right time," said James. He clearly doesn't have a problem telling people if he doesn't want to play the 4 so you have to take the comments that he makes now about wanting to play the 4 at face value. Your reasons for why he "can't" play he 4 full time if he so chose are stupid and don't make any sense for reasons that I've already stated. I just gave you a quote of Lebron himself endorsing the move despite what he's said in the past. I gave you a video of Kyrie explaining why he likes the move. Yet you're still arguing your stupidass opinion that contradicts what the players and coach are saying![]()
Acknowledging that he's willing to play the 4 in small ball lineups doesn't mean he's willing to play it for the entire season (which again, he's been playing at the 4 throughout this season when the Cavs go small). LeBron and the Cavs need Love's 3-pt shooting more than whatever Wiggins was going to provide for them.
