Randle isn't the PF the Magic would covet. They would like a more all around one. Those are quite hard to find.

Randle wouldn't really help the Magic stretch the floor or on the defensive end. Skiles would hate a dude like Lou on his team too.

For the sake of argument, Orlando would keep Randle coming off the bench since Frye's doing wonders for their starting unit. Randle and Gordon could be played together at the 4/5 spots against other second units and overwhelm them with athleticism.
Lou Will might drive Skiles nuts, but he'd only cost $2 million more than CJ Watson over the next 2.5 seasons and is definitely a better player. He's an upgrade from Napier as well.
Second unit of Williams, Oladipo, Randle and Gordon could really get up and down the floor.![]()
You didn't know Hezonja is that dude? Why would the lakers want henzonja tho

You didn't know Hezonja is that dude?
Not being sarcastic, he'd fit with the Lakers and can play off the ball.
Clarkson and Russell play small forward and shoot over 40% from three?Having russell and Clarkson would pretty much make having him obselet.

Clarkson and Russell play small forward and shoot over 40% from three?![]()
The problem with that is they'd have no spacing on the second unit:

What exactly do you think Randle's trade value is at the moment?Nope and that still doesn't change my thoughts on the post. What would be the benefit of having him especially for randle? Just wouldn't make sense for the lakers, could get much more value for julius

The problem with that is they'd have no spacing on the second unit:
Napier/Lou/Oladipo
Oladipo/Lou
Marble
Randle/Gordon
Smith/Gordon/Dedmon
Hezonja and Nicholson provide the balance for the lack of shooting. Plus Oladipo and Lou need the ball in their hands to be effective. I don't see how it'd work out.

And at that point that's where Hennigan will hang up the phone.Send Nick Young and Ryan Kelly to Orlando as well with Jason Smith going to LA.![]()

Now that Randle's playing in real games and is shooting below 30% outside of three feet, I'd venture to guess that his trade value isn't that high. Right now, Hezonja brings more to the table. Its alot more than mario 4 sure. The kings were interested in him for cousins in the offseason so im sure his value is more than mario. Not even saying dude wont be good just dont see how its worth it for the lakers.
