His shooting has regressed so much since Miami, and we're starting to see a little slippage at his finishing at the rim now too.

I've had the impression that one of the reasons Lebron wanted to leave Miami was that he was tired of having to put in so much effort on both ends, having Pat Riley monitoring his body fat and eating habits, having to carry the entire team. He went to Cleveland because he thought he could coast more by relying on Kyrie.

It legit seems like he didn't work on his game at all.

I don't think his finishing has regressed at all. He's just predictable now. When he had a a jumpshot you had to respect that fact and that gave him a little more leeway with driving lanes. But now that everyone knows he has 0 confidence in his shot and is gonna barrel to the basket everytime, well...I think the GS game was a perfect example of what happens. Dude needs to fix his shyt quick.

Nah fam, there's some definite skill regression going on there, if it were just about him being predictable his freethrow percentage wouldn't have dropped so much. There's no rational reason why his FT% has gone from 76% (4 years in Miami) to 71% in his two years back in Cleveland. He's still getting to the line at around the same rate too, so if he's lost a step it hasn't affected him too much yet, it seems like he hasn't put in the work.

The 8th seed in the west is going to be interesting because right now in the West there is only a 2 game difference from picking in the top 10 and being an 8th seed.

The Jazz have a bunch of injures
Bledsoe out for the season & Morris has quit on them.
The Blazers have to be cautious about Lillard's plantar fasciitis.

This means it could give teams like the Kings or Pelicans a chance to jump up to the 8th seed, but is a first round loss to the Warriors worth it? I mean it shows a team is making progress, but the 8th seeded team could be well below .500, meaning if they did not make the playoffs they could be picking in the top 10

Getting a lottery pick:hula: losing to the Warriors in the first round

He works on his game year round.

His shot went back to shyt when Damon Jones got back on board. Even now that DJ is Canton coaching Bron's fundamentals are off. He doesn't square his shoulders half the time...he's off balance and his feet aren't set.

I think mentally he's off his square and it's effecting his team.

Thunder/TSC
Lord help the Pelicans if they somehow end up as the 8 seed. The last thing they need is to barely make it in again & have ownership think their really that good. Going to end up like the Suns did & get caught in the middle ground of needing better draft odds to add talent & getting a middle pick every year.

Suns need to go ahead & send PJ Tucker to the Thunder & start Warren:manny:

I think he left miami solely for business reasons. going back home, becoming the hero again, and ultimately leading them to a title....it was a great plan that would take his brand to a whole nother level. he knew the spurs would be older....he knew there really wasn't anybody else who could challenge them. but he had no clue the warriors would become the force they are now. steph curry is the new face of the league and bron's "homecoming" storyline has been completely forgotten about. he returned to cleveland for all the wrong reasons and now he's miserable. if he really went back because of the burden he carried in miami, he should have spoken out instead of going back to a place he didn't want to be at. now he's stuck there for good. if he leaves again it would be a major hit to his legacy. he's done so many things this season to show he's not happy on that team, and I think the decline in his game is proof of that. he used to take pride in working on his game every summer and coming back stronger than ever. now it's like he doesn't even have the motivation anymore. when his contract is up, he just needs to say fukk the legacy, fukk business, fukk the media.....i'm going wherever i'ma be happy. because it sure as hell isn't cleveland.
