Well we know it's clearly not you. You've been trying to shift the argument every step of the way.
These are two different things. First of all, yes Martin can be valuable under the right circumstances, but then so can most players. The problem is this - Martin ONLY provides spot-up shooting and virtually nothing else. Whereas not does Johnson provide spot-up shooting (he's actually shooting better from behind the arc this season), he can be used as a playmaker/help run the offense, he can be used as an option on the low block, can be used to create his own shot (especially down the stretch), be used in different types of lineups, can play competent defense - mostly versatility of being able to guard different positions. There's so many things he offers that Martin doesn't.
And I mean you'd have an argument if K-Mart's shooting actually provided more impact than what Johnson did collectively, but Johnson is shooting BETTER than him this season. The only job that K-Mart has, even Johnson is better than him at it:
Johnson - 38% 3-pt shooting on 3.9 attempts
K-Mart - 37% 3-pt shooting on 2.6 attempts
How can K-Mart be possibly better at this stage of his career when he doesn't even do his ONE job better than Johnson?
The only one that's been looking like a fool is you. Nobody in their right mind would call Martin a better player. It's just simply not reflective of reality. Why do you constantly overlook all the other things Johnson does on the court to help teams? Why do you only bring up scoring?
Holla back when Kevin Martin is actually getting game time.
