He had a great stretch in the ending of the third but he was largely ineffective before then and his offensive play was a contributor to PHX cutting the deficit in the second. He also shot 58% at the free throw line and missed his first four or five attempts.
To be fair, it seems as if his ankle is bothering him again.

I understand why they did it but it is still crazy they denver didn't try harder to make the jokic nurkic parrying work...
When the blazers trade one of dame or cj Nurkic is going to start putting up the same numbers as Jokic...

It wasn't for lack of effort. Nurkic is lazier and checks out faster than Jokic. Trading him in the division could hurt them but Denver needs to consolidate their assets anyway.

Whenever I watched them play Nurkic had a way faster hook than Jokic. Saying he was lazy and aloof doesn't mean much to me...what 22 year old basketball player isn't?

Book's been less aggressive since the All Star break.
I'm still waiting for him to put it together for a whole game.
He'll look All World for a quarter, but then fade into the background
the following quarter.
Mainly because the Suns don't make it a point to keep him involved.
It's basically "Make Bledsoe look like an all star"....everybody else are just scavengers.
They might get a few out of rhythm shots/iso opportunities, but that's it.
If you're trying to make Eric Bledsoe the centerpiece of your team,
you'll never escape mediocrity.He's not an Allen Iverson or even Isaiah Thomas(Boston)
He's a decent/good scorer, but not explosive enough to consistently win you games like that.
But that's the role the Suns want him to play.
But yeah, Booker seemed disinterested early on.I believe he had 5 turnovers in the first half.
He was getting ripped & fumbling the ball a lot....But then they decide to finally feature him
in the last 2 minutes and he got it going...By then it was too late.I wish they'd look for him
with that same sense of urgency earlier in games.I kinda feel like he's being underutilized
by the Suns.H should be the clear cut 1st/2nd option every night.Too many nights he seems
3rd or 4th behind Bledsoe and even Barbosa.Watson has a hard on for Barbosa.
For a vet, Barbosa has a piss poor IQ.I think he's mostly hurt the Suns this year.

I stated earlier in the thread, the refs were being ultra generous to the Wiz last night.
I don't know if another team sent in tape on the Suns, but it seemed like the refs came out
ready to make a statement.The slightest contact, they blew the whistle.Some ticky tack
others completley bogus.
I believe the Wizards shot 21 FT's in the 1st Q......53 for the game
playoff races are beginning to get interesting now
in the east i think cleveland will be the 1 seed but you have 3 teams battling for the 2-4 posiiton in boston, toronto and washington. They're only seperated by 2 games or so.
then you have 4 times fighting for the 5-8 position only separated by 3 games.
in the west i think pop is going to rest hit guys and GS will be the 1 seed followed by the spurs and rockets. clippers need the 4 seed to beat utah and it really won't matter who 6 or 7 they will lose. denver will get swept by the hoe ass warriors

Nurkic checks out of games quicker mentally than Nurkic and Denver's offense runs a lot better without him taking up space. It doesn't even matter that they dropped the Grizzlies draft pick in that trade its just one less young player for Malone not to play

If the warriors have to play Denver without KD shyt is going to get a little
...They are not going to get very much production from the sf spot until KD comes back...
If Gallo or Chandler has a big game they are going to be behind the 8 ball pretty bad...
They will still win but without KD I can see that being a 6 game series...
Now if KD comes back and he just isn't terrible then forget it thats sweep or 5 game series and the warriors win every game 130 to 118...
