Tbh money changed a lot of this too. Getting stuck with a 200 million contract ain't pretty. So I don't blame teams being cautious now. Back then they would run these dudes to the ground because they could eat those small contracts. It's a different day now.This is why I shyt on people that think rest is mandotory. It wasn't like that until literally 2010 when Pop started doing it and the whole league decided to play copycat.
