I'll just say anyone who thinks KP is a center in the making needs to give up that dream. If he winds up a center, it'll be after he's 30 years old. Leave him at the 4.
I've BEEN saying this

Game had strange officiating on both sides the whole nightLeBron fouled Jokic like 4 times on that play. What are the refs looking at?

You do realize Rudy Gobert is a beast capable of doing this against anyone right? And Gorbert had 11 offensive rebounds, but KP is an elite defender
Probably not the most suitable reference.A lot of media guys like Zach Lowe are referencing the 2001 Lakers as precedent for a team who struggled defensively and flipped the light switch during the playoffs. Even as a Laker fan my basketball eyes were far too young at the time to notice what exactly clicked defensively for them.......and if that's even a reasonable comparison to the defensive struggles the Cavs are going through now.
I know but he's not a scorer and he dropped 35.Gobert is actually really good bro
He is the prototypical stretch 5 in every sense.I'll just say anyone who thinks KP is a center in the making needs to give up that dream. If he winds up a center, it'll be after he's 30 years old. Leave him at the 4.

Lakers had a # of defensive role players with experience and versatility (Fox, Grant and Horry), Shaq upped his defensive activity as the team's anchor, Shaq/Kobe put their regular season drama to the side, and the most overlooked thing was the return of Derek Fisher from injury (who only played 20 games at the end of the season - prior to his return they were ranked 22nd on defense across 62 games, and 13th over the last month). The Lakers defense was starting to click near the end of the season, peaking in the playoffs; whereas the Cavs' is getting worse (29th since the All-Star break). They could flip the switch because they had the pieces, the same be said for Cleveland.
