@KevJ basically acted like nobody else had a bright future, and that Danny cornered the market and every move was genius. Now Kyrie's knee is dodgy, the Sixers have emerged + will keep their draft pick, the Nets pick wont be as bad as he predicted, and as good as Tatum has been he's gonna come off the bench next year for Hayward :dead: That Hayward signing looks ridiculous now with how well Tatum has played.

That Hayward signing isn't what's ridiculous. It's that Ainge continues to go half in. He wants to compete for years to come, but he's not contending with what he's doing. he's got kyrie/hayward/horford and then a bunch of young guys that, while good, won't reach their primes until those guys are leaving their primes.

He's playing to treadmill as a pseudocontender because he doesn't want to commit to now or the future.

Best big man in the league, it's not that close either :hubie:

Still has a lot of room to improve which is the ridiculous part of it all.....he is the one.

It's really not close. All that's really left is him slimming down a tiny bit this summer and someone telling him to stop diving on the floor. You only get so many of those in your career. He's way too important to be a what if player.
