Depending on how these playoffs go, it could be an interesting reflection on the whole super team [3+"stars"] dominance. Since '08 [or maybe '04], it's shown to 'work' as far as winning a title or 2, or at least reaching the finals, but there's always just so much fukkery that happens with nagging injuries, players not meshing, weak benches, and a well oiled team ready to play the role of spoilers.

They run too much sets with him in the game. 75% of the time he brings the ball up gives it off a hand-off to a big who get's it to Redikk meanwhile he's setting a back screen. He doesn't get to isolate much or run a straight PnR. He's playing like someone who doesn't want to rock the boat when he/the team should be trying to maximize his minutes in terms of getting himself going. Not saying he needs to shoot/drive every time but I need the 1st games aggression every night.

It's a shame he's had such bad luck with injuries, the talent is there and he still has that ridiculous first step for his size.

He looks smooth out there. Dude just needs to have an Steph Curry-type offseason where he just works on his game and his body so he can be a little less injury prone. He also shouldn't be playing any overseas ball anymore.

I agree, he definitely shouldn't be playing for his national team, but they got a squad now out of nowhere so you know he will be there.
I'm really interested in seeing how his FA goes, there aren't that many teams with space, but the Magic clearly need a lead guard. I'm wondering at what point do the Jazz just let him walk, he's a much better fit with Donovan than Rubio, because he has the size to guard big 2 guards.
