If they have that much concern and fear, then they can work elsewhere. We're in the middle of a global pandemic, we're all exposed to COVID unless we're living in a bubble. The point of the vaccine is for people to protect themselves further and minimize side effects from it. We're sitting here talking about vaccinated people complaining about a few folks being unvaccinated in a highly controlled environment and workplace.
These same people are more than likely NOT checking friends and family members' temperatures when they come in contact with them, these same people still going to public places and stores where they have no idea how many people are vaccinated or not. These same people can carry COVID and infect the players they're talking about they are concerned about.
Sure it's in their right to be concerned, but unless they walking around in hazmat suits, verifying everyone who they come in contact with vaccination cards, they can truly shut the fukk up in this case.
You're right but people will play semantics with this point.
Its pretty ridiculous that fully vaccinated people, in an environment with proven success at infection control (see past two seasons) are operating with even *greater* fear than they had when the vaccine didnt even exist.
Thats how you know the rhetoric around vaccinations has made some people lose all sight and perspective.
If you believe that it hugely reduces risk for of severe disease/hospitalization ( and I do), why on earth are you still operating from a perspective of fear/anger about the unvaccinated around you? The greatest risks are entirely their own.
The real answer IMO? Some people are still under the impression/belief the disease can get eradicated and that cases will reach 0 if/when everyone is vaccinated. This will never happen, as countries with extremely high vaccinated rates show (Its 80 plus percent where I live in Canada). Get your vaccine and move on with your life accordingly.
