These are the type of stats that start to generate when a MVP seems inevitible.

The only reason I'm second guessing it is because I just checked Joker's stats and they continue to be beyond earthling comprehension. I don't think I've ever seen better stats than that ever from any player unless they were going against part-time used car salesmen.

Denver should be winning every single year until that kid is washed. I'm speechless.

(I'm black tho, so I want SGA to win lololol)

Shai has the more dominant storyline/narrative and the stats to back it up. Yeah, he's winning the MVP

the straw polls will be interesting. if there ever was a year for co-mvp's this would be it. having said that right now shai has 44 wins hes been on the floor for, jokic has 34. unless that gap is shortened shai will win. thats not to say wins are the decider but when its this close wins are the decider. there probably will be some voter fatigue with jokic but if shai wins hes worthy. he put up an mvp caliber year last year, this year hes putting up a historic year.

Joker not winning it this year most likely
The only chance he wins it is that OKC somehow falls off a cliff with their W/L record and fall to the 3rd seed or something like that. Outside of that, Jokic has no chance

last year's disaster of a season was the best thing to happen to them. let them develop pieces and ship out the guys who were never going to help them win. now they have so much more firepower depth and versatility.
