that's a negative on that, a Lakers/Cavs finals is no bueno

I could go for 7 games of Cleveland vs OKC if all the games were like the first matchup in Cleveland though -- best game of the year by far.

I'm looking at Tankathon and the Playoff Standings, Portland is currently slotted in the 10th spot in the lottery with a record of 27-34

The Magic are slotted with the 15th pick with a record of 29-33. If Portland finishes with a better record than Orlando, but also lower in their respective conference, will they get a worse pick than the Magic if let's say they finish 8 or 9 in the East?



I only care because Portland's 1st goes to Chicago if it lands outside of the lottery

Its weird. I believe it goes by record for the 14 teams that dont make the playoffs. So even if Portland gets a better record, if Orlando makes it through the play in, they will pick later.

Basically, the lottery is the 14 teams that dont make the 1st round of the playoffs.
