My GAWD what a terrible defense by Luka

It's still early in the season but so far it looks like Mavs overachieved again, just like that trip they had to conference finals then next season they didn't make the playoffs at all.

I mean they could fire Jason Kidd and hire a better coach, cause that roster has no room for improvement. They overpaid for that squad and they are using Trae Young's regular season strategy of being too bored of non-playoff games

On one hand “it’s early”, on the other hand:

• 2023: 38 win season (year 1 of Luka/Kyrie)
• 2024: Finals appearance as a 50-32 5th seed
• 2025: Back to sub-.500 (so far)

They could go one way or another this season and I wouldn’t be surprised
