This is fair but he was bad last season. Awful defensively and forced way too many bad shots. He's always been a streaky player but the peaks and valleys are more pronounced.
But like I said, Kerr's offense has been stale and he's refused to change or adapt anything. Maybe in a lesser role with two elite playmakers, Klay bounces back. He's gonna have more open shots this season than he's had in years.
