Wild stat I came across from the Mavs/Warriors game -
In the 19 minutes that Dray was on the bench, the Mavs shot 98 TS% - 19 out of 20 on 2s and 9 out of 13 on 3s. Near damn maximized their possessions in the time he was off the floor.
I've watched them plenty this year. He still took a lot of shockingly bad shots this game. His shots in OT were ridiculous. I just want to see Jimmy Butler on a contender.
At 6-6 with his BBIQ, he was always going to level up in the league; that is almost always a winning combination. He was one of the smartest players at the college level I'd seen in a long time.
It's good that the Pistons finally have someone worthy of building around/with after essentially being irrelevant for the last 15 years.
