Those reports were out there before last season even started. That trio was always going to get broken up for money reasons, but their success last season delayed it.

It was the worst kept secret in the league.
Rudy should have been the one to go. That run they had last next not happening again no time soon.

The second apron changed a lot of GM's priorities. It used to only take an owner that didn't mind the luxury to collect talent and go over the cap as much as necessary. But now that type of spending costs trade flexibility and even picks potentially. Every team needs a cap expert.

Unfortunately for a team like Minny and Milwaukee, they mortgaged up a lot of their picks before the new CBA and now paying the price for it.

In hindsight, I wonder if they would made moves differently had they known what was to come.

Where the hell he gonna go? He gotta get healthy first

Only teams I could see do it is the Raptors sending out Bruce Brown and maybe Olynk to get Zion paired with Barnes, Quickley and RJ though it’s not a good fit at all since they all need the ball.

He could also be flipped for more assets later. Maybe the Trailblazers do it for Grant and to get someone younger since they are basically in rebuild territory

Scottie, IQ, and Zion aren’t good jump shooters, that spacing would be terrible
