It was all good just a week (and a half) ago. 2nd seed and an unlikely but feasible path to the WCFs. But 1 trade deadline + a 6-game losing streak later, and we’re back to above expectations instead of way above and beyond ‘em.

We’ll undoubtedly go after one of these premiere/ aging stars on crashout teams (PHX, MIL) this summer; just gotta hope we make the right move.

As things stand, DEN and LAL probably will catch MEM and end up the 2nd/3rd seeds… which means OKC will walk through us or MEM in round 2 to make the WCFs. DAL probably the only team that can cause any disruption to this.
