SGA should have the MVP locked up imo.
Also not convinced that OKC ain't the favorites for the title, barring injury...
theyre both having historic seasons and either would be worthy but right now its sga. if it was a tie based on how great theyve been sga playing in 5 more games and okc having an 11 game advantage in the standings would be the tiebreaker. okc should absolutely be the favorites, right now they have a better srs 12.38 than the 11.80 by the 95-96 bulls. the cavs have a 10.70 srs which equals the 96-97 bulls. only one season in league history has there been at least one team with an srs over 10 and a team a team with an srs below 10 won the title.SGA should have the MVP locked up imo.

Mehhh Orlando says otherwise.Outside of Minnesota with the corpse of Conley, there’s no other hypothetically “good but could be great” (or better) team in need of a starting point guard.
So as good as Harden still is, his path is really: transition to the CP3 mentor role on a young or rebuilding team in need of a point guard, take the Russ role of being a super 6th man on a title team, or continue as is starting for a treadmill 1st round exit.

Might as well continue maximizing his bread as a ring at this year isn’t going to do much in changing the narrative of his career based on his ageNah. They’re Houston Rockets level.
aka “Mentoring a young team” status, but not making them great (title-contender) next year or the year after.
The underlining question being how does James want to finish out his career outside of maximizing his money
Houston is vastly in need of a starting pg. they’re the worse offensive team i the playoffs in the westOutside of Minnesota with the corpse of Conley, there’s no other hypothetically “good but could be great” (or better) team in need of a starting point guard.

I would welcome thatHouston is vastly in need of a starting pg. they’re the worse offensive team i the playoffs in the west
