Yeah my problem with Murray is he's just too injury prone and even when he plays he's just way too inconsistent for a number 2 option. For me the problem is the combo of the Murray and Porter contracts. You can't seriously overpay the second and third option and and have them be one way players around a Center that isn't a defensive force.

I agree.

Pay 200 mil apiece for mediocre/unavailable 2nd and 3rd options then be stressed when you can't afford higher-end role players to compensate for the mediocrity and unavailability.

Hell, Aaron Gordon is their one bonafide high-end role player with a good amount of money tied to him, and he's practically missed half the season as well.
