Sacramento and Dallas really have no business being in position for a playoff slot. Y'all had 82 games and are 8 and 9 games behind the 8th seed.

That shyt was necessary for the two Covid seasons but outside of that, goofy and dumb. If they insist on it, they should add a rule that you have to be within like, 4 or 5 games of 8th to qualify

This is a TV show and a reward for teams that actually handled their business. Being 7 or 8 out of 15 is not an accomplishment that puts you above having to play you way in...no matter how many games are between you and 9 and 10. They will never cut the playoff teams like they should so this is the next best thing. If you gonna let undeserving also rans in, make em earn it and give us some free basketball .
