He typically gets away with some bullshyt, but those last possessions were egregious.

He fouled Sengun 4-5 times on that post-up, then comes down the other end and shoves Tate out of the way on the go-ahead. Like @Nero Christ said, that OT turned into a Royal Rumble, it wasn't even hoops.

It's one thing to have a roster of mostly dumbasses. That's a GM problem.

A coach who is in denial of said dumbasses amplifies that problem.

The 4th quarter collapse was so obvious that somebody shoulda seen it and called a time out just to reset things. Finch is not Phil Jackson.

The subsequent run to start OT, Finch had Conley AND Slow-Mo out there. He wanted to try to win that game 3 on 5.

The only smart thing he did in the last 9 minutes of that game was put TJ in at the end and he got the last deflection to end it.

Randle and DiVincenzo ain't fooling me despite tonight. Something gotta give. The only saving grace is that Beringer will get some of those non Rudy minutes next year.

Tim Bontemps is the only media guy I've ever heard call out Mobley. Rest of these bozos always have an excuse ready or dismiss any criticism.

That fugazi DPOY and 2nd Team All-NBA selection bumped his salary to the full max. He's making the same as Donovan Mitchell. At that salary, you have to be at worst a #2 offensive option and he's not even close to that.

Scottie Barnes doesn't make as much, but he's another guy who doesn't catch any criticism. He is not a top two offensive option and never will be. You won't be a contender paying that much to players who cannot carry an offense.

For inconsistent play, Mobley and Barnes is the PERFECT comparison.

If they meet in the 1st round, I'll be interested in seeing which one let's its team down.

I'm not confident in the Cavs AT ALL and they damn sure want no parts of Boston.
